Whether you like it or not of Tesla, is difficult to anyone of us being indifferent to it, either by its beautiful electric cars, or the eccentricity of its CEO Elon Musk, the right is that Tesla marked a position in the automobile world.
Revolution and Evolution
Although they may appear different concepts at start, the revolution and evolution are two faces from the same coin, since one is always dependent one another.
By looking to different brands and models in the market nowadays, quickly we verified that technologically and in what concerns to the value for the customer, few things set them apart, being the price the main differential.
Tesla came to change the game with its bet on innovation, redefining existing concepts and creating new ones, existing many examples of that, such as the development of its own OS that came to allow the remote update of its cars, or its bet in IOT applications with special emphasis on the autonomous driving, or even its contribute for the electric mobility.
As well as a stone dropped in a puddle provokes a disruption around it, also Tesla represented the stone that lacked in an industry without ideas. Nowadays a little all over the industry we began to see the signs of this evolution wave. As an example of that Bosch has in development a system that will allow to other car brands to update remotely its cars as Tesla do nowadays, also in what concerns to autonomous driving almost all car brands have in development its own projects on this subject, also Goodyear has in development tires with sensors which will allow knowing when they have to be replaced, and what to say about electric mobility once disbelieved by the car industry, now is seen as the future of it.
Such revolution has leading to an automobile evolution either technologically, exploring other kinds of mobility like hydrogen, either in its own user experience, leading to little by little the concept of product being traded by the concept of service where he has as example not only Tesla but also Volvo and Porsche.
Tesla redefined completely the way we see the car and how we see electric cars and these are maybe the greatest contributes to automobile sector.
